Overview
Maruti Suzuki Ignis is a crossover that was launched in feb 2017, after it was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Ignis' will give a tough competition to Ford Figo, Mahindra KUV100, Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
Engine
The Ignis has a 4 valve 1.2-litre VVT Petrol Engine, It churns out max Power 82 bhp@6000rpm and Torque 113 Nm@4200rpm. The engine has displacement 1197cc a bit less than Swift’s engine. The car comes in manual transmission only with 5 gears.
Exterior
The car looks a bit unique, the design is very different and catchy. The car has LED projector headlamps, chrome front grille, fog lamps. The car can be bought in a scheme of 2 different colours. The turning radius of the car is 4.7 Meters and the ground clearance ins 180 mm. The car also comes with Alloy wheels, Roof Mounted Antenna and Rear Wiper and Washer.
Interior
The car is very safe and spacious inside, it can carry 5 passengers easily. It has a boot space of 260L and fuel tank capacity 32 L. The rear seats can be folded to create more space, basic features like cup holders, vanity mirror, cooled glove Box, power socket and many more. Ignis is made very safe for the passengers, it has central locking, Immobilizer, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors and Front Dual SRS Airbags.
